Issue 7: Stretching Comfort Zones
The vita-brevis team recently experienced moving from predictably safe conditions through relentless turbulence, into a new environment. Does this sound like what you are facing currently in your role? To examine the effects of consciously stretching our comfort zone we launched ourselves from still waters into white water!

The metaphors are endless – choppy waters
ahead, sinking fast, being in over your head – excitement or fear depending on
your mindset. By making the necessary
preparations and going with the flow we all bobbed up again, free from
apprehension and full of elation.
Expertly led by John and Craig of nae limits who
encouraged and inspired us to take risks, it reminded us of the crucial role
leaders take in enabling their teams to navigate the white waters.
We are delighted to be collaborating with
nae limits on some team working projects. To find out more Email us.
Feel the fear and do it anyway!
Fear
can serve us well if we positively embrace it. Read Susan Jeffers’s long-standing bestseller, which
explores how to turn your fear and indecision into confidence and action. Click here to buy Amazon.co.uk
What we think makes a difference!
Science is now proving that “It’s the
thought that counts”. The power of
heart-felt thoughts and words change the physical state of matter, which can be
demonstrated and measured. Positive
thoughts and words produce positive results!
Putting
Appreciation at the Heart of Leadership is our groundbreaking 3-day
workshop which brings this to life for leaders. Working with Dr David Hamilton we aim to equip
participants with powerful tools which positively change thinking at an
individual, team and organisational level.
