Putting Appreciation at the Heart of Leadership

This residential workshop is offered either as an open programme or tailored for the needs of real teams. Dates have not yet been set for the open programme in 2008.

We take a totally fresh look at appreciation from the leadership perspective. The highly participative experience we aim to give you will be both empowering and lasting. Our facilitators lead us in a range of activities which demonstrate the links between appreciation and the performance of individuals and organisations.

The venue is on the stunning west coast of Scotland, providing a fantastic opportunity for us to appreciate some of the most spectacular scenery imaginable.

Workshop Overview:

DAY 1

Appreciating what you've got

Arrive (4.30 p.m.)

Truly recognising the quality, value, significance, or magnitude of people and things

Increasing awareness and perception of aesthetic qualities and values and how this influences how we are as leaders

DAY 2	Appreciating yourself and others

	The link between self perception, self leadership and how we appreciate others The use of gratitude and reward in an organisational, team and individual context

DAY 3

The Value of Appreciation

Quantifying the value added by appreciation, at individual and collective level. How thinking changes outcomes in a profound way.
